Join us in Red Deer!

Rotary district conventions serve as a unique platform for reconnecting with old acquaintances and forging new friendships. The upcoming convention in Red Deer on May 1, 2, and 3, 2026, promises to uphold this tradition, offering an enriching experience for attendees.

Here’s what you can expect as a participant:

  • Opening Ceremonies to kick off the conference with energy and purpose

  • House of Friendship—browse, connect, and be inspired by club projects, fundraisers, and ideas

  • Fellowship at mealtimes, where conversations and friendships naturally grow

  • Meet Rotary International dignitaries and District leaders

  • Introduction of next year’s District leadership team

  • Gala Dinner & Awards Presentation, celebrating excellence and service

  • Dinner and dance at the Gala—because Rotary knows how to celebrate 🎶

  • Major Donor Celebration Party, honouring extraordinary generosity and impact

  • Celebrating our Rotary family—remembering those we’ve lost and welcoming new babies

Engaging breakout sessions are designed to broaden your understanding of the expansive Rotary world. Noteworthy, this year's convention is the kick off party on Friday night with the Dueling Pianos from Las Vega!

The formal opening ceremonies will take place on Saturday morning. To ensure a packed schedule of fellowship and informative programs, the event will extend until 3:00 pm on Sunday. This thoughtful scheduling allows participants to return home at a reasonable hour.

Anticipate the creation of lasting memories, ones that participants will carry with them and eagerly share with fellow Rotarians and non-Rotarians alike. Throughout the weekend you will enjoy:

  1. Inspiring speakers who challenge, energize, and spark new ideas

  2. Meaningful fellowship—reconnect with friends and make new Rotary connections

  3. Practical learning you can take straight back to your club

  4. Fresh inspiration to reignite your Rotary passion and purpose

  5. Idea-sharing—discover what other clubs are doing and borrow shamelessly 😉

  6. Fun & celebration—laugh, relax, and let your hair down

  7. Powerful connections across the District and beyond
